The Fast Lane

Silver in the Fast Lane is a documentary about British Silversmith Richard Fox, who has been designing Formula 1's trophies for over 40 years after winning a competition just after finishing his Masters at The RCA. This is also the first film I made after my MA in documentary filmmaking - he also happens to be my Dad! In the film, he reflects on his creative process, the history of the sport and the challenges he faces to bring young talent in and keep the endagered craft of Silversmithing alive.
